Your garden should be a space for the whole family to enjoy. It may be that tree houses and zip wires are more fun for the younger members, but a well planned garden should be able to suit everyone at any time of the day, evening or night. For guests, of course, but also to strengthen your family bonds.

So, why not challenge us to assemble the perfect collage of ideas for you? Find a place to chill, in the sun or shade. Warm to the idea of a fire pit or chiminea. Get the lighting right to make the most of your evenings. And retain the organic beauty of the great outdoors with gazebos, bends, bird boxes and feeders.

Chilling

With the kids are running around outside, it can often be tiring just watching them. But with warm sunny days it only seems right to go and enjoy it with them.

Find just the right outdoor loungers or swing seats. They’re perfect for spending time soaking up the sun or spending time with family.

In the Shade

Whenever the sun comes out, we go outside to soak up as many rays as we can. However sometimes the heat can be too much and we head back indoors to cool down.

Parasols and sail shades can be a practical and appealing alternative to creating your own shade. These are great for creating an adaptable lifestyle to suit all the family.

Fired Up

There’s nothing like coming home to relax with our main comfort: food and warmth. Imagine being sat in your garden, with the gentle crackling of a fire pit and perhaps some sausages on the site.

It’s a great meeting point, a chance to unwind, talk through the day, plan your next adventures and toast some marshmallows. It’s a place for the whole family to come together and share life.

Illuminated

When the light of the sun begins to fail, it is too easy to retreat back indoors. But you can extend your evening and entertaining with carefully selected outdoor lighting.

Choose a range of options, from ground to wall mounted, some to light paths, others to uplight trees and pergolas, and others to dine by. When well selected, it’s like having a second, magical garden to retreat to.

On Display

For those more fine tuned to nature, gardening can be one of the most enjoyable activities to pass the time. Sprucing up the flower beds, and trimming down the hedges are just some of the things we do to keep our haven to our liking.

And Other Animals

Animals and wildlife can bring life and laughter to family homes, and the garden is a great place to create spaces for them. They are also a great means of encouraging children to learn about and care for animals.

Bird boxes, dovecotes and hen houses can bring the birds home to roost. Or, for other furry friends, how about a rabbit hutch or kennel? We can source the right ones for you.

The younger of our two grandsons had his 8th birthday party. The tree house had a thorough test by 16 children between aged 7 and 11. It has survived with no ill effects, being agreed to be ‘cool’ and a good thing.
